Early Years-Part 2 早期作品-2

These are sample of drawings which I did in early years, mostly before 70's when I was living in Taipei, Taiwan. Most of the drawings done at that period were none political because of the implied censorship during Chiang Kai-Shek era. Freedom of speech has been restored after he died in the late 70's. The first time that I experienced Freedom of Speech was when I came to the US and visited a souvenir shop at Time Square in New York City; I saw a big poster of Nixon sitting on the toilet with his pants down saying "SMILE". I have been liberated since then and now I have no fear of poking fun, clean fun, at public figures.Thank you President Nixon.
